Why You Can't Meet a Good Woman - For Men (Part 1)

Why do my friends marry decent women while I can't?
Ever thought this? "How did my friends end up marrying women like that? What do they have that I don't?" Honestly, everyone's wondered this at least once. But what's the reason? Today I'll walk you through, one by one, why you haven't met a good woman yet.
An era where being alone is comfortable, and why dating and marriage got harder
Just look at TV these days: so many shows star people who live alone. Eating alone, drinking alone, going to the movies alone, stories of people who do everything perfectly well by themselves. The times sympathize with people who are alone and tend to make it look cool. Before you know it, being alone gets more and more comfortable. Even with friends around you dating and getting married, time alone just keeps getting more familiar.
You probably think you've got decent specs, too.
"With my education, my looks, my salary, my job, my family's assets, aren't I good enough?" And at least once, you've met a woman who loved you. But for one reason or another, it ended. Whether it left a deep wound or you just weren't compatible, you ended up alone.
Being alone gets more and more comfortable
So you start thinking living alone isn't so bad. Fewer hassles, and there's plenty of fun stuff you can do solo, right? Having worked hard all this time, you now have time for self-improvement, you study, you build up your resume at work, your savings grow bit by bit. So you start feeling that you're perfectly fine on your own.
Being single also means you can meet a variety of women, and spend less money while you're at it. But at some point, out of nowhere, you'll think: I want to meet a "genuinely good woman." Someone I'd stake everything on, someone who truly fits me.
So why aren't you meeting a good woman?
As time passes, blind dates become fewer, and the friends you used to hang out with get married one by one, so the chances to meet someone shrink. Eventually, the people around you are mostly someone from a hobby group you happened to join, someone you met on an app, or people from nightclubs and pickup bars. But those connections mostly don't go deep, and the cycle of ending up alone again repeats.
By now you've probably thought about it.
"Was I so busy studying that I never had time to date?"
"Is it because my looks aren't especially appealing?"
"Is it because I don't have enough money, or because my family isn't well off?"
"Is it because I'm too stingy to spend money on my appearance?"
But the real reason is simple. You haven't put in enough effort to meet a good woman.
Meeting a good woman takes effort
Honestly, the you of today is fine. You've just been a bit short on effort. A good woman doesn't simply appear; you have to invest the time and effort it takes to meet her. Have you ever thought about where you'd go to meet a good woman, or how you'd approach her? Going to a matchmaking agency is one option, but even without going that far, there are definitely ways to meet a good woman. What matters is how you work toward it.
I've kept it brief so far, but there's more to say. Next time, I'll talk about more concrete methods.
